I stayed at the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum 11/27/04 - 12/1/04. My first time in London so I opted to stay at a chain hotel. Bid price accepted on priceline.com was $80 USD. Four nights $320.00 plus $66.49 Tax & SVC fee = $386.49; approx $97 a night.
Breakfast not included in the bid price however you could enjoy the buffet for $15 BPS.
The hotel can be described as "smart". Located near the Gloucester tube and Waitrose (grocery) kept things convenient. The room had two single beds, closet, hair dryer, pants press, clothes drawers, coffee/tea tray setup, and windows that opened. Exercise Room, Restaurant, and Pub onsite. Bathroom was average size. No need to bring a converter.
For the price of the room and amenities, I would definitely recommend the hotel.
Unique Qualities: Most unique feature is the way the lights turned on by inserting the door card in a slot right was you walk into the room.
