A wonderful collection of unique stalls selling anything from new locally made clothing to locally made jewellery.

You can also find alot of unique artwork and photography as well as some second hand clothing including shoes. There are also massage stalls, tarot card readings etc

Great for travellers who need to get unique Australian gifts and want to experience some Australian Beach culture.

All of this- right across the road from Sydneys most famous Beach.

Oxford Street: ...labels and lattes.....! markets and mardi gras.

  • Name of Shop: Oxford Street

Looking for Collette Dinnigan Clothing? Marcs? Morrissey? Bracewell? Saba? Rebecca Davies?

All this on Oxford Street in Paddington or browse through boutiques in Victorian Terrace houses hidden away in the tiny side streets off Oxford street.....

Located just up from Oxford Street is Queen Street, Woollahra. This street is famous for its array of antique shops, featuring everything from furniture to jewellery.

Paddington is a fashionable suburb renowned for its Federation-style terraced housing. Bustling Oxford Street contrasts with the leafy calm of the rest of the suburb where you'll discover houses with "iron lace" - Paddington's trademark architectural feature.

Paddington has many art galleries and Australian designer boutiques to explore. Enjoy milling with the locals around Fiveways, the centre of Paddington village.

On Saturdays, the popular Paddington Market is great for Australian souvenirs. www.paddingtonmarket.com.au

There are over 200 stalls with original hand-made jewellery, crafts, second hand clothes and some highly individual fashions.

Paddington has more than its share of cafes and restaurants and its pubs pride themselves on offering the latest in contemporary dining.

What To Buy: Oxford street is home to Australias most famous designers - pick up something unique and Australian in Paddington :D or just browse and stop off for a Latte or a Brunch in one of the many cafes along this strip...

    What To Pay: $0.50 - $50000+

    Clothing: Double Bay Boutiques

Plenty of boutiques are located in this area. The shop fronts alone are very cute. You will also find a few seconds stores in the area, full of high end labels. Once youve done boutique hopping, there are lots of nice cafes and restaurants. My favourite is called the Limoncello - cafe/restaurant.

Explore the European-style lanes and arcades for silverware, fine jewellery, antiques, art and gifts.

The current Miss Universe/Miss Australia had her hair done recently at Transvaal Avenue, Double Bay.

What To Buy: Unique and Designer labels, beautiful childrens toys- rocking horses, doll houses, exquisite jewellery and baby clothes...you will find a bit of everything in Double Bay.

What To Pay: Much above average
