Sg Lembing once known as the El-Dorado of the East of Malaya because of the presence of a British community in the Kenau River Valley.

The tin mining activities created this town about 100 years ago and made it famous because of its underground tin mine which is the largest of its kind in the word.

The closure of the tin mine in 1986, one year after the fall in the price of tin ore changed the atmosphere of Sg Lembing from a busy town into a sleepy hollow.

A must-do activity when you visit to Sg Lembing.

It attracts tons of people visit here during weekend, to avoid crowds and easier accommodation booking, please visit in weekdays.

The trail take times approx 1 hour, but if you're a good 'stair-climber', you might reach the top in 30mins.

It's about luck to viewing the sunrise, I miss it cause the clouds was too thick...

You can visit the Charas Caves, Sg Pandan Waterfall, Rainbow Waterfall, Deer Park, Sg Lembing Museum, Tin Mine site, Crystal House (only open on weekends).

Rainbow Waterfall - you might need hire a guide to bring you there, the rainbow will appear when the sun rise to the specific angle in the morning.
