George's Apartments: Excellent rooms

The accommodation at George's was excellent. We had a one bedroomed apartment with plenty of room and a patio shared with the other rooms. Voula, the owner, loved her small garden and exotic flowers were lovingly tended daily.
As our three weeks wore on we did notice a lot more traffic noise from the main road, not far away. At times it seemed constant and we did wonder what it would be like in high season.

Unique Qualities: George's was rural even though it wasn't far from the main road. We watched the apricots being picked from the trees opposite and were given bowls full. Voula and Andreas, although they didn't speak English, were very friendly and helpful.
The name of the apartment was taken from their son's name.
We enjoyed chatting to the other families in the evenings on the patio and we actually celebrated Michael's 7th birthday here and another child's and had parties for them.

Directions: Ignore the first turn into Stoupa and a bit further on is a dirt track. Turn down this (towards Stoupa) and George's is about 150 metres down here on the right.
