We have stayed on this site a few times and always enjoyed our stay.
The site is about 4 miles north east of Barnard Castle, between Cleatlam and South Cleatlam.
The owners are extremely friendly and always come out to greet you.
It's a three acre site, with three pitching areas and plenty of room for children to run about in. The owners horses are in the next field, just over a fence, so if you like horses you'll be in your element.
Unique Qualities: When we first stayed here, there was a toilet and electric hook-ups and it only cost £3 a night. Now, a new toilet and shower facility has been added and the price has risen a fair bit.
It's still a nice, quiet site, handy for Barnard Castle and Raby Castle.
