Nice little suburban town... There isn't much else going on here outside of college life. Lansing is a medium sized city (about 180,000 people, I think). East Lansing is a suburb that houses the gigantic campus of Michigan State University. Most of the businesses and activities available are centered around college life. |
| | So it's a college town, so what? This place is very beautiful, with the scenic banks of the Red Cedar River and our glorious football stadium, you can't go wrong. Over 40,000 students call this place home coming from every state and over 125 countries. Grand River (the "Main St." of the area) has excellent specialty shopping, and lots of good food. |
