| Big Ben, as the clock strikes 4 |
My first glimpse of London was coming out of the Euston train station. I looked out on the streets from my cab, out the window, and thought "wow, I'm here". It's the place I always wanted to see-and, lucky me, there I was.
That was in the summer of '99, and I knew that one day I'd come back. So, six years later, back to London I came...a little colder since I visited in December, but it's still London. All the great symbols of London were still there to greet me: Big Ben, Picadilly Circus, Parliament. The sights, the sounds, the atmosphere - all still there, exactly as I remember them. It was great to be back.
London has anything you want in life: history, fun, entertainment, great food, and amazing ethnic diversity. There's something magical about being there. I hope my pages inspire you to visit one day...and for me to return there. |

...and sometimes some great VT friends come see you there.
What a great night we had together, with a memorable walk in the late night London rain to top it off. June, you always make me smile. :-) | | |
