Sunrise over Cancun
%And someday I really will. Until then, enjoy this lovely sunset. And pay no attention to my being in my underwear in Cancun when I took it!

It was taken from my hotel balcony...so I wasn't running around without pants!!!%c
Cheers
Most of us collect some sort of trinkets from our travels. I collect shotglasses. I never use them, just display them. And I look at them a lot too. They bring back some tremendous memories.

More to come too

The Choco Lover's Club - It's good to be the king!

Did you know that VT now has a Chocolate Lovers Club? Tis true. I've been appointed King, but it's really Shyjane and Janetsita's club. Let one of those two lovely ladies know if you'd like to join.
I've done a few cool things in my travels. While in Chicago, I tried real hard to save Ferris.%c
Off to London, at Christmas. I saw Santa. Many Santas, in fact. Wonder what I was drinking that night?%c
Santa in London
First glimpse of the Eiffel Tower
Saw this famous place for the first time. I think I'll be back too.
A pretty cool year. With one more gratuitous shot of Baltoberfest. Because, why not?
Got your camera?
Now, why is Kymbanm smiling?

The greatest things I've seen (so far)

We all have our memories of what we've seen & experienced while travelling, that we keep in our hearts (and, sometimes, put on our HP's). Even though I came to the "travel life" relatively late, I've made some great memories:

That salsa band I heard my first day in Barcelona, on the beach at night. How very noisy it was.

Listening to the Sea that next night in Barcelona, on the same beach. How very peaceful it was.

The majesty of Yosemite.

Meeting a total stranger at a Texas hotel pool, who's become a good friend to me.

Following a military band though the streets of Montreal, on an impromtu parade.

The streets and neighborhoods of San Francisco.

Seeing my grandfather's house in Ireland.

Lots of baseball games.

All of those wonderful outdoor cafes in Madrid, and all the people watching I did.

The SJC meet.

My first look at London, from a cab window.

Walking in the London rain on my second trip there. How we found Poons' hotel, I'll never know.

Anytime I fly over New York City. It's still home, you know.

Driving on an LA freeway for the first time, and realizing it's not as bad as I'd heard.

The lobby bar in Houston.

The St. Patrick's Day Parade in Denver. Didn't even know they had one.

A "death-ride" around the Arc d'Triomphe. A really fun introduction to Paris.

Going to Baltoberfest and losing my voice during karaoke. D@mn Bon Jovi.

Mexico! The majesty of Chichen Itza. The pool at the Casamagna. Having half a bottle of salt poured in my beer there. Oh, and the shot girls at Margaritaville. Nice coconuts, girls...now, where's my credit card?!!!

All the great people I've met so far, especially you wonderful VTers. Maybe, one day, that will be you :-)

But first, someone's gotta pay the bill!%c
