THE BECKER VINEYARDS & WINERY | THE BECKER WINERY NEAR FREDERICKSBURG |
About ten miles east of Fredericksburg are two interesting wineries. The Becker Winery is one of them. President George W. Bush uses Becker wines for many White House banquets. Yet many of their wines are reasonably priced. There is no charge for tasting, except for "reserve" wines. |

|  | THE MUSEUM OF THE PACIFIC THEATRE OF WWII The interesting building in the photo is but a small part of this museum complex. If you are interested in the Pacific Theatre of World War II, this is a must stop. This was known as the Nimitz Hotel and was built to resemble a steamboat. It is now part of the museum complex.

| | WILDFOWERS EVERYWHERE The nation's largest wildflower seed production farm is just a few miles east of Fredericksburg on highway 290 (near the Beckery Winery). We were there in February so no wildflowers were blooming but it is still an interesting facility to see at any time. |
