On the north end of this small town is a rather large campus with an equally large name. Known simply as Bethpage (say "BETH-puh-jee") to locals, it is a resident mission for developmentally challenged individuals. The picture shows the elegant chapel on the campus.

THE NEBRASKA TELEVISION NETWORK

The field of satellite dishes marks the location of the NTV network, which broadcasts over most of the state. The studios are located about 5 miles east of Axtell, and about 15 miles south of Kearney.

THE TOWN

Basic services are available from the downtown business district of this small Nebraska town. Axtell can be found along highway 6/34 between Holdrege and Minden in south central Nebraska. About 700 people call Axtell home.
