It has become a tradition to present a small selection of exquisite pieces belonging to the Princely Collections in Vaduz in the context of thematic rotating exhibitions. Over the course of 400 years of collecting, the Princes of Liechtenstein have demonstrated a marked interest in such works, which have also met their social and cultural need for representation. Thus, a rich inventory of works of art has been compiled over the centuries, not only including painters and sculptors like Rembrandt, Rubens, Jodaens, Batoni, Duquesnoy, Susini, Rauchmiller and Soldani, but also telling the most beautiful stories of Greek and Roman antiquity.
