I will remember this place not just because of Mayon volcano nor the good sites and great people but also of memories I had here. Though it would just be a memory I will treasure and maybe I will forget the details but the thought of it will be kept here in me.

A church during a Spanish era that was buried during the eruption of Mt. Mayon on February 1, 1814. Today only the belfry and some walls remains as a testimony of where once the church stood.

What makes my Bicol trip special is the hospitality of the people that took care of us from the day we arrived to the last minute we get back to Manila. A proof that in this side of the Philippines the traits and cultures of Filipinos are still rich and practiced. Thank you for the warm welcome and accomodations.
