| Beautiful Downtown Daytime |
I really enjoy my hometown of Minneapolis Minnesota. It has a gorgeous downtown that makes me warm and fuzzy inside.
People are usually warmer than the climate and we have people from through out the world who make Minneapolis home sweet home.
Been here for my whole life and can't imagine anywhere more captivating!
I will give a full write up on my hometown, the hotspots, the eatries and festivals. In due time. |

This is the wildest performance festival you could find. Nearly twenty different venues and close to 175 different performances to chose from this is esparitionally the most diverse collection of skits. Since a pocket of these venues are in my cozy urbane neighborhood, I am constantly giving directions to these outrageous shows. Keep in an eye on the various performances, package tickets are sold so you can see performances of your choosing and many sell out weeks in advance.
With titles like; "Eat! A Generous Buffet of Karen Carpenter's Songbook", "Death Penalty Puppetry", “Osama Kinkaid, Painter of Terrorism", and “The Cat in the Coffin or 28 Days in Pet Loss Therapy." How could it a single performance be boring?

Guthrie performances have been an institution amongst Minnesota natives and visitors alike. I can recall how many Christmas Carol performances I hadn’t been too, but not many. Reserve tickets for this famous performance months ahead. Otherwise, there are an excellent staple of classic productions to choose from. Concerts, performances from world tour productions and special events keep our downtown bustling with theater goers. Also look into the Guthrie Lab for not your usual classic performances.
Up and coming performances: Oedipus, Pericles, As You Like It, She Loves Me, and A Body of Water.

We have a Minnesota Orchestra with Osma Vanksa from Helsinki directing for us permanently. Besides Osma there are many contemporary musical acts. Shows sell out fast, yet your hotel might be able to snag a few for you. Rumor has it that the acoustics in this establishment is one of the best in the country.

If your bringing your tax deductions with wouldn’t they appreciate some culture with a engaging performance? Children’s Theater has to be one of the best productions for youth’s in the USA. Parents are as blown away as youngsters. Parking, a restaurant, and a refreshment stand of excellent standards make every aspect of the evening as flawless as the performances. A sizeable amount of the actors in these plays are children too.
Attached to the Children's Theater is my favorite place in the city: www.artsmia.org
We have the Minneapolis Institute of art. Which has the second most valueable collection in the world. I can spend every Sunday afternoon in this enchanting place and never sick of it. |
