Restaurant Name: Red Lantern House
My hostel - Red Lantern House, also served breakfast. Many different Chinese teas to choose from, Chrysanthamum, Rose, leaf, etc. And they always had a selection of good coffee to freshly brew. As well as a range of Chinese pastries with sweet red bean paste, or egg, or other types of fillings.

This restaurant is between Quain Hai and Hou Hai Lakes. Very tasty food.
Favorite Dish: Wow, this dish amazed me by it's hotness! Pieces of fish, in oil, covered in chillies and peppercorns! If you like spicy, order 'Fish cooked in Water!' haha that's it's real name! My mouth was not on only fire, it got the shakes!

Restaurant Name: Rain
This place gets 5 stars for ambience! It is like a rainforest tree-top house! So cozy and so quaint! There are many soft couches, and lofts to sit in, and a young man there speaks a bit of English. He will translate the menu for you and help you to order good food. We were very happy with the food, ambience, and service!

We ate dumplings in Oriental Plaza, a huge shopping mall. We got vegetarian dumplings, so can't tell you what the real one's with meat tasted like! The vegetarian ones were good though, lots of garlic!

Yay, only 20RMB and all-you-can-eat hotpot! Warning! Only get the 'spicy' soup if you can handle very very incredibly spicy ok?! It's good to be able to choose your own ingredients of fish, meat, and veges! Very Tasty! And also that price includes a drink.

Restaurant Name: Oriental Plaza
Food is tasty. Has English menu. Very important when you are sick of struggling to pronunce Chinese words, or sick of eating 'fried rice/noodles' coz that's the only thing you know how to say in Chinese... Very good service, clean and nice ambience. A little expensive for Beijing, but not expensive compared with other countries like USA/Europe/Japan!
Favorite Dish: The fried prawns! yummy!
