we had enough spare time before the return flight to manila so we dropped by at sm mall on our way to the airport. they stormed the souvenir section while i, on the other hand, couldn't be bothered to pick up something. while they were busy browsing the items, i was right there in the corner doing nothing than stare at them. my cheapskate nature is holding me back. i think it's not about how worse a penny pincher i am but it's more of a self-imposed tenet to travel light, that's why i dont see the need to bring home mementos wherever i go. or let's better put it this way. i'm not interested in these fancy stuff at all. these little knicknacks that would remind someone of the place he's been to would just add to my weight. i believe in minimalism and i espouse miniaturization. so while waiting, i had to while away my time sipping on my new discovery- durian con langka fruit shake. wow a taste of excellence.
