I just have to share this tip, we were in LAX yesterday and had 5 hrs transit time. After hearing so much about this IN-N-Out burger place from the airport staff and stewardess, we decided to go eat there. The issue is we didn't want to take a cab there as we were told that minimum charge was $20 for a cab ride from LAX. After we walked around abit, we decided to take a chance and hop on the free LAX link buses, the ones that take you to carparks etc. It just happened the one we hopped on was the 'Carpark C'. The really nice bus driver told us that she goes to the carpark that is just on Sepulveda, once you get to carpark C (after the gate) and the shuttle point, you just hop off and turn right on Sepulveda Blvd, keep walking until you see it. It's about 5-10 mins depending on your walking speed. To go back, just go back to this point and you can hop on the departure shuttle back to the terminals. Enjoy. Oh another thing, we did spot the 'The Parking Spot' shuttles that goes to the airport and the parking lot is just next to the burger joint, maybe that's another option, I'm not sure.
