Winter trip to Krakow, Poland

Historic and beautiful

13th Century church
I love to visit cathedrals, abbeys, synagogues, etc for the pure artistic and creativeness. Which is oddly strange as I am an athesit, nonetheless, I can still appreciate the time, effort and dedication to creating such a beautiful building.
Entrance to Auschwitz

Auschwitz and Birkenau

Yes, Auschwitz is a terrible place for history yet it cannot be forgotten. The misery, humiliation and death and torture extolled during the Nazi era was horrendous. Auschwitz is a horrible place yet a place to see, feel and experience.

SNOW!!

My partner and I spent 4 days in Krakow and it snowed everyday. And that was already adding to the 3 feet on the ground already! It was spectacular, pretty and made for lots of hot tea and coffee!
Grozny park

Pros:"WONDERFUL people, hot guys, lots of history"
Cons:"Some older Soviet-era folks refused to help us in the language barrier area."
In A Nutshell:"A MUST SEE CITY!!"
