Hi all,
I am sure that I am going to enjoy sharing my travel experiences with you all and I have certainly benefited from your willingness to share your experiences.
I am now just 55 and, as a lot of people of my age did, spent most of my earlier years looking forward to my 2 weeks summer break in the Med, Greece or The Canaries - soaking up the sun, chasing the girls..................!
However since 1996 I have enjoyed travelling, as opposed to going on holiday, if you know what I mean?
I get so much pleasure from researching & planning my journeys and find that VT is a vital source for this.
I have travelled fairly extensively, but there is so much more to see. I do plan to visit South America, maybe next year - Rio to Lima (with several interesting stops on the way.)
Due to work commitments I have only managed a week-end in the Algarve this year, however I will be arriving in Dahab on Dec 6th for 37 restful nights chilling by the Red Sea.
All helpful tips will be appreciated.
