Toiletries & Medical Supplies: There are a lot of small pharmacies in the touristy Sharm area - but don't count on them to have whatever it is you might need, I found the selection at these pharmacies to be *very* limited, and simple things like band-aids were also of a pretty poor quality *and* actually expensive. The staff at many of these "pharmacies" are not qualified pharmacists. Make sure to bring your medicines and any medical stuff you might need, as replacements might be hard to find..!

You will want to be particularly careful with hand hygiene while you're in Egypt (Notice the bank notes, esp. the smaller denomination ones, they tend to be *truly* filthy - one of the reasons why so many tourists get upset stomachs on their holiday in the country:o) - I brought a small box of alcohol wipes with me, they take up zero space in your luggage and can be bought at most pharmacies. Keep a couple of these in your pockets, bag, whatever - and use to disinfect your hands before eating, whenever a proper handwash isn't possible.
