Damnoen Saduak is famous for its floating market. People flock to the area to see Thai culture at its best. The idea of locals selling their goods to one another, makes people want to take part in the activities themselves. When I visited the market, I was very upset. It was nothing but a tourist trap. The vendors sold souvenirs and the sides of the market were lined with souvenir shops.
I was told that if you want to see the locals interact and sell their goods, you must visit very early in the morning. |

I was glad that we got there on ourself. It is really better earlier in the morning, also you won't tour the shops before ... Not bad page here, interesting to see what such a day tour consists of, but you repat and repeat the same tips again and again. |
