| Ladies Market in Mong Kok, Kowloon |
We started our around the world trip in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is definately a very beautiful and unique city. It is a combination of chinese and western culture. You could be shopping in a Prada store, make a wrong turn, and be in a dive noodle shop.
Kowloon is a poppin area of Hong Kong. It has many of the nicer hotels, i.e. Shangri La and the Peninsula. It also has alot of great shopping and food. There are some nice markets like the Ladies Night Market. Mong Kok is also are great place at night because it seems to stay open all night long. This is the area where our hostel was located. |
