Boutique Resort on Chaweng Beach and other Ko Samui, Thailand Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

The best experience I have had at a hotel. Set in a gorgeous location right on the beach, Baad Haad Ngam is a small resort/spa with 40 rooms and villas. The beach reaches the front wall of the hotel, meaning when you eat at the restaurant you can sit 1m or so from the water. The beach along the "main drag" is easily accessable from here, whilst still maintaining a perfect balance between seclusion and being near the action. Perfect for families and couples.

The view here along with the landscaping is spectacular.

Unique Qualities: As above, the staff are exceptional.

Quite an enjoyable stay. Centrally located in the middle of Chaweng Beach, however the villas feel quite secluded amongst magnificent gardens. Service was about average, but I got the feeling that they were quite understaffed (hence the advert. on the roadside after 8 more staff), in particular the beach front restaurant. The Italian restaurant near the entrance looked top notch though.

Buffet breakfast was nothing to write home about, limited selection which kept running out. Staff were friendly. Rooms were of great design but the ones near the roadside are a tad noisy. Still an excellent place to stay.

Unique Qualities: Central location, excellent gardens and ocean views from the beach front of the property. Wonderful.
