Unseen in Pattaya

by peerapa - last update: Feb 10, 2005

Welcome to The Sanctuary of truth

The Sanctuary of truth

Have you ever heard "Unseen in Thailand" campaign of Tourism Authority of Thailand?....The Sanctuary of truth (in Thai "Prasat Sut Ja-Tum") is one of unseen places in Thailand....and maybe you won't find the Sanctuary of Truth in guidebooks.
The Sanctuary of Truth, A huge temple made completely of wood...and this wooden sanctuary is the biggest in Thailand...(and maybe in the world too??). Established in 1981 by Mr. Lek Wiriyaphan, the owner of The Acient City (Muang Boran) and the three-headed elephant Art Museum at Samut prakan Province....Sadly, Khun Lek passed away a few years ago, so he will never see The Sanctuary of truth completed. :'(
Dolphin trainning shows
The Sanctuary of Truth, stands without a single nail and it's a never ending construction (yes!! still not finished).....Moreover you can watch Dolphin trainning shows in the sanctuary of truth. ^ __ ^

Open Hour : Everyday, 08:00 - 18:00 hrs.
Admission Fee : 500 Baht
