Seychelles Islands are expensive. Mauricio is cheap and also Comoros, but not Seychelles. The cheapest hostel in Victoria asked me in rupees the equivalent to 50 US dollars a night, amount that I could not afford, and therefore I had to sleep on the nearby beach of Northwest Bay, near the village of Bel Ombre, at one hour walk from Victoria.
My favourite cafeteria to drink coffee in the mornings was Pirates Arms, in the centre of Victoria.
The airport is not far from the town, and you can walk to get there.
The archipelago is composed by 115 islands where live about 80.000 persons. It is the smaller country in Africa.
There is a special atoll called Aldabra (UNESCO World Heritage), where live the giant green turtles, considered the Galapagos of Africa. Unfortunately I could not go there because of the expensive trip by charter boats, since there is no airport in the atoll.
