Singapore a Jumping off Point for South East Asia I prefer to fly in and out of Singapore sometimes to get to the resort towns in Thailand. Bangkok can get old and Singapore is a cleaner version. However, last time we went thru we had a late night lay-over and needed something to do for 5 hours (midnight to 5 AM) so we hopped in a cab and took a little city tour. The driver was intent on showing us the Red Light district (mind it we are 2 women, not sure why he was impressed on showing us this.) Somethings are better left hidden. But they certainly have their fair share of Adult entertainment for men in Singapore. Needless to say Singapore is a small city state and at late night there are restaurants and bars open, but not enough to see to fill 5 hours of drive-bys. |
