Crusing on the Explorer

Traveling via ship

Seeing the Caribbean on a cruise ship gives you brief opportunities to see various ports. Actually being on board was what I most enjoyed. The crew and accomodations were great. One truly is treated like pseudo royality with fun activities, interesting entertainment, and, of course, excellent food & service. It was a very good experience. My traveling friends & I liked it so much we wished we could have our dining staff waiters leave with us!

Gourmet Dining while at Sea

The dining experience while on a cruise ship goes beyond imagination. The crew really does an excellent job in preparing and serving the meals. In the main dining room for evening meals a show may even be put on by the waiters for the passengers, which we all enjoyed. Then, also, the formal events and buffets are not to be missed due to the excellent food choices. The buffets are decorated with various ice carvings--so at least go to look even if you choose not to partake.

Early riser

Being up right before the dawn when all is quiet and bathed in the glow of the early morning sun is a peaceful break. Some, on the cruise, use this time to walk /jog on the upper deck where a track was located. Others, like myself, use it to linger over a cup of coffee in a lounge chair viewing the sunrise. Ahhh, the good life!

Pros:"Great treatment on the cruise ship."
Cons:"At the end, you have to go home!"
In A Nutshell:"A wonderful escape from normal life."
