Grand Cayman has survived Hurricane Ivan still the scars are visable. We had to tender in from our cruise ship since the port was part of the substantial damage. The charm of the island shines through anyway. Since their dollar is strong it is obvious that they do not need the tourist income. It is, afterall, called the Switzerland of the Caribbean for good reason. |
