"Beautifully sculpted Noravank" Noravank by Assenczo
Noravank Travel Guide: 1 reviews and 9 photos
This monastery is apparently a relatively new outfit which is easy to discern by the fact that the insides of the buildings are still in their pink splendour as opposed to being in the depressive tyranny of the candle soot. This peppers a bit of disappointment on the purpose of being there but for sure it is not something that is going to spoil the whole trip. This piece of beautiful architecture is thrown in the midst of nowhere (considering many people on this side of the pond do not even know where Armenia is it really means nowhere) or rather in the clutches of a rugged canyon of rocks in all shades of the red colour. The place belongs to the gods especially when the people leave. So just get on one of the Hyur service gems and you'll be there and back in a day.
- Pros:Unique
- In a nutshell:Belongs to the gods
