A FINE PLACE TO STAY.... and other Basel, Switzerland Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

This is a lovely place to stay. A lovely atmosphere and I felt as if at home, comfortable rooms, lovely café/restaurant, good meals, kind people!

I travelled by TRAIN from Middelburg in The Netherlands to Basel in Switzerland, which is always fantastic and pleasant!

In Switzerland itself I had a special Pass and travelled from Basel to Geneva, from Geneva to Interlaken, from Interlaken to Luzern and from Luzern to Basel, to take the train to The Netherlands again.

Of course I stayed 1-2-3 days in each of these cities for special excursions and it was a most wonderful stay, especially for someone who hadn't seen SNOW for years on end.......
