WOUDRICHEM IN NOORD-BRABANT...

WOUDRICHEM is a most wonderful village, very old, historic and oh, so pleasant to walk there....

I often come there because of my roots and here you see my travel outfit........

ME AND THE FISHERMAN'S STATUE.....

FISHERMAN'S STATUE....

This is the river MERWEDE and of course there is a statue of a FISHERMAN , always restless on the look out over the water, as if it is pulling him towards it...

You immediately recognise a fisherman: his clothing and behaviour and...attitude......

DRIVING TO WOUDRICHEM......

LITTLE RIVER + REFLECTIONS OF TREES....

While driving I am also on the look out for picturesque, atmospheric and typically DUTCH places and I can stop time and again......

And isn't this great?

In a nutshell:A REAL MUST WHEN YOU ARE TOURING THE NETHERLANDS BY CAR....
