DELPHI (DELPHOI in GREEK) ia an ancient city near the Gulf of Corinth, in PHOCIS, at the foot of the Mount PARNASSUS.

It is the site of the Delphi Oracle and of the PYTHIAN GAMES.

The place was excavated in the 19th Century and many precious remains, that are now in the Museum, were found.
Of especial importance is the TEMPLE TO APOLLO......

Visiting ATHENS (GREECE'S CAPITAL) for it museums and its beauty, we (a group of Art students from The Netherlands, University of Leiden) simply HAD TO VISIT DELPHI, that famous place of the ORACLES.....

The tour by bus was great, arriving at Delphi still better and roaming around was the BEST.....sweet memories.
