STATUE OF THE FOUNTAIN.....

here is my old story again: when I became a VT member long ago there wasn't much choice of places, especially not in Europ so.....I made nice BRUGGE ( BRUGES) TRAVELOGUES under BELGIUM....but now......I start a real new BRUGGE PAGE, although I still don't know how to take everything away from my Belgium page into that new BRUGGE PAGE, but this is
about BRUGGE

So don't forget to go to my BELGIUM PAGE to see lots of other beautiful places and buildings in BRUGGE....!

And remember that I am a TRAVELOGUES PERSON : it doesn't matter to me that they will be unratable in future, I just love making them for you (and for myself) enjoy them........

WONDERFUL BRUGGE....

As you can see in my photo: BRUGGE is superb in SPRING....
Here is a view from de LEIEN, in the old part of BRUGGE, where it is so good to be.

You can walk to the BEGUINAGE, or go there by horse&carriage and walk and walk and enjoy...

Afterwards you can go to the busy city centre for a shopping spree and a lovely meal at my favourite place: BELLE EPOQUE (see restaurant TIPS)

We could even meet there....email me!!

My TIPS are OK (I think) but my most beautiful and atmospheric PHOTOS that tell more than TIPS ever can, are in my TRAVELOGUES......

Pros and Cons

Pros:SUCH A RICH, OLD, HISTORIC, MESMERIZING PLACE....
Cons:NONE THAT I KNOW OF.....PERHAPS TOO MANY TOURISTS IN SUMMER???
In a nutshell:A REAL MUST MUST MUST......

Very good interesting tips - in fact I love the Belgium fruit beers so you're reminders to have a glass are making me very thirsty - yummy :-)
