Favorite Thing: LA BOQUERIA in the RAMBLAS is without a shadow of a doubt the best place to buy fresh food, vegs, meat, fish, cheese, dried fruit, nuts and oh, so much more and everything is high quality! One of the best DELICATESSEN (there are many!) is GRAN COLMADO on Consell de Cent 318
Fondest Memory: For chocolate and ice cream you go to ESCRIBà, the shop with the modernista-façade, RAMBLAS 83.

Favorite Thing: The FLEA MARKET (on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays) "LOS ENCANTES" takes place on the Plaça de Glòries. If you are curious as I am you surely will go there at least once.... In the CALLE BISBAL (Ciutad Vella) near the Cathedral you will find lots of very nice things: dolls, papier-machée masks, glass and earthenware. Beeswax candles, a local speciality, you can buy at SUBIRA CERERIA in BAIXADA LIBERTARIA 7. (founded in 1761!!).
Fondest Memory: JUST BEING THERE, FEELING FREE AND ENJOY SUN, WARMTH, KIND PEOPLE AND MUCH MORE......and walking the RAMBLAS each morning before breakfast!
