and for me these doors are very special: I love them, the way someone, long ago has worked to create a firm, heavy and good door, ornated it with special nails and he must have asked the smith to forge some nice rings for this then new door, he must have felt proud.....the moment it could be used for the first time. 2 years ago I made wonderful CALENDERS with on each page such a wonderful DOOR from all over the world......

El Museo del Prado desde la fachada de la Plaza de Murillo. The photo you see is the enormous maze of THE PRADO: this picture was taken from the Murillo Square and on your left hand side the door in the white part of the façade is the ENTRANCE called: THE VELAZQUES GATE. The building itself is called: EDIFICIO VILLANUEVA. It can be very busy, especially in the rooms of very famous artists.....but there are more quiet places that also have wonderful works of art and to be true: I am not much of a VELAZQUEZ FAN...... I still have the FLOORPLAN.....and I see that my feeling was right: it is a maze but all rooms have numbers.. Actually it is recognised as one of the LARGEST MUSEUMS in the WORLD!!
