TROVATO NELLA "CASA DEL FANNO..... A MOSAIC

VISITING ROME we (a little group of Art students with our Professor) also visited POMPEII and HERCULANEUM, both most impressive places......

We travelled by train from ROME to NAPLES and afther that by train to Pompeii and Herculaneum.

He was a fabulous young man who died age 32. His soldiers adored him, did EVERYTHING he asked them and....he was a GREAT LEADER who brought peace to the countries he conquored!

In a nutshell:VERY WORTH WHILE VISITING WHEN YOU VISIT NAPLES AND/OR ROME.....

Few ancient cities are preserved so well as one can get a glimpse of a long gone culture/civilization. A great page.

TO store goods, liquids, to wash? Latrines? ..... Nooooo!!! It is the local restaurant and the jars are used to store the food before serving to the people!!! HAHAHA!!! Lovely travelogues you have made here!!! Pity we cannot rate them here!!!
