La Basilique Notre Dame de Bon-Secours (14th Century) et la Fontaine de la Plomée.
The Basilica of Our Lady de Bon-Secours and the Fountain.
This Basilica is the most important monument and of course a religious one: a Basiilica is Roman Catholic.
It is the only parish church now but there have been more bit those were the churches of the suburbs.
Guingamp is situated in the mid NW of Bretagne..... and the best thing to do is: go there by car (if possible), otherwise RENT A CAR and enjoy touring this whole mesmerizing, richly divers, AREA....

|  | LA BRETAGNE PITTORESQUE.... In Spring (when you are lucky, early and quiet) you can see these birds.
There beaks seem to be very heavy but are hollow and not heavy at all.
Only in Spring when they need to impress the female birds their beaks have these wonderfully arranged COLOURS which are such a joy to see if even for one minute!
They are MACAREUX or PUFFINS, a protected species......

| | THE FIRST PLACE TO GO WHEN ARRIVING SOMEWHERE. Yes, that really is the best thing to do . They can tell you everything and sometimes have very nice surprises for you.......if the lady at the Tourist Office somewhere in Sweden hadn't told us about the .. I would have missed a lot of beauty in the woods and in the special museum (also a nice lunch!).
