Los Glaciares National Park, located in the southwest of the Santa Cruz Province, was created in 1937.
The total surface of the Park is 600,000 hectares: 154,000 belong to the Area of National Reserves. There are 356 glaciers, of which the most important amount to 13.
In 1981, UNESCO declared it Humanity's Natural Patrimony, in order to preserve and protect it for present and future generations.
The excursion begins at 8.30 am to the Perito Moreno Glacier where you will discover the fascinating world of Glacier. Once you arrive to the Perito Moreno you will have a 1800 mts road facing the Perito Moreno Glacier where you can walk for 3 hours. During your visit you may see many ice falls. These blocks of ice falling makes a huge noise and an increible feeling in your heart. We will be back at 5:30 pm aproximatly
