Aviano 2005
Well I moved here in January and it was COLD as was February.... it snowed a few times... some of it actually sticking. I've decided that April and September are the best times to visit, although it can be rainy -- sometimes for weeks at a time. Aviano is a sleepy little town that caters to Americans very much. Almost all the restaurants have menus in English and most of the Italians can speak a little English if not be fluent. Therefore my lack of Italian is not too detrimental. I can now read enough to be dangerous but speaking it is still a no go.
