I am new to this so I do not know what I am doing as yet...
Excuse me ;)
My first goal is to add photos to this thing. All the photos are from my trips EXCEPT the Korcula and Sydney ones...Ill get around to taking my own photos rather then ripping off some website. This rainbow is in San Juan...I took it. People into photography probably think it is ***E but to me I love it so deal with it ;)
A little note...like everyone on this site i DO like to travel but feel as though I am a bit limited seeming I am far away from a lot of the places I'd love to see being stuck down under. Nevertheless, I love Australia and I will somehow make it to the places I want to see.
It's our memories we bring with us to our grave yes? Nothing else.
Louise

The Greek says, "We have the Parthenon"
The Italian says, "We have the Colosseum"
The Greek says "We had great Mathematicians"
The Italian says "We had the Roman Empire"
and so on and so on and then Greek Says: "We invented sex"
The Italian says "That is true, but it was the Italians who introduced it to women" |
| | MY BDAY @ tank night club in the city...Sydney
Was a good time.
Thanks for the bday wishes people. |
| | Srpski Night This is my cousin bestfriend and I at a serbian night in Sydney 23rd April 2005.
Melinda (the princess in the middle) and I are off to Greece and Croatia together this year with Dave below (but he will scoot to Macedonia rather then Croatia - I wonder who will be missing out?!?!). |
| | MALUA BAY - New South Wales South Coast This should really ought to be my main picture I think. Malua Bay is a place I travel too every month or so where some of my family lives. This is a place special to me with lots of memories.
Malua is also home to me, a place where I can sit back and not have a care in the world (sorry my love Sydney).
Malua is an aboriginal word. I am unable to remember the meaning though. It is 4-4.5 hours drive south of Sydney.
This is the first place I nearly died as a child because of a wave...but I continued on swimming ;) Lots of people from Canberra own holiday houses here as it is only 2 hours away. |
| | BATEMANS BAY Malua Bay is located not far from Batemans Bay. Here is a map.
I have only come across two foreign tourists ever down there so I wouldnt highly recommend it but there are nice beaches etc....even some with kangaroo's on them!! I promise (just before Durras). |
| | My Next Tattoo This is the head of an edelweiss flower. It grows in the Alps of Italy, Austria etc (recall the movie the sound of music...."edelweiss, every morning you greet me").
Well it grows where my Mum is from in the north of Italy. They call it the star of the mountain, I can not remember the italian translation.
I will get this on my back probably. Not sure where. It is to represent my mothers side of the family. Any suggestions??
=)
If you look at my pages that are in an awful need to be update (eeekkk) you will discover my mother is from Italy and father Croatia. |
| | FIFA HERE AUSTRALIA COMES After more then THIRTY YEARS Australia finally qualify for the WORLD CUP! This breakthrough that gave many Australians goosebumps occured on the 16th of November 2005!!! The reason why they won can be explained by my birthday :) That was my little bday present.
When Australia won in the shoot out it was that momment I decided to go to Germany in June-July 2006! Yes it may be expensive and difficult to find accomodation; Yes I have put no thought into this decision I have made and NO I do not have tickets to any matches...I will just enjoy the experience and take it all in.
Goodluck the Socceroos (the Australian soccer team...or for those that call it football). |
| | Diana and Melinda These are the two lucky girls i tend to travel overseas with. When I go to Europe in 2006 I will have the pleasure of being woken up by them every morning. |
