Allegedly a Canadian Bar... there are no Canadian staff! To be honest, despite the expat credentials, this is quite an average bar apart from tursday, friday and saturday nights when the cellar opens up to reveal fussball, chats with expats and the friendliest Barman in the world.

Yes Yes you've heard it all before... there's this great 5 story nightclub in Prague... the chill out room is just.... Okay, it is good here but not that good. The great drinking area in the basement has been replaced with a sterile internet cafe and the funky uber-disco people have overtaken the Chill out room... I just won't go on about it but I loved this place the first time I went. The second time it bored me. Go there for the novely value... the marble stairways will remind you of your school days.

Not bad but not great either. The music is funky and apart from the two prostitutes hanging out at the bar it was a really pleasant place. It was nice to see people smoking weed quite liberally and the vegetarian cafe upstairs is a nice touch.

I'm mentioning this place as I know it in a former incarnation as the Chapeau Rouge. In it's old life, it was a dingy and horrible place but was a fantastic spot to meet other travellers, have a fantastic night out and (dare I say it) get something to smoke. Who knows if it's still the same... worth checking out maybe?
