To walk around Prague today it is hard to believe that this place was in very recent history firmly behind the Iron Curtain... it truly has transformed immensely. In my opinion, this city has without doubt the most beautiful arcitecture in Europe, all in a backdrop of charming strreets, friendly locals and magical sights which ensure that you can continually stoll around in a sense of complete amazement. I was lucky enough to glimpse this place before the world of chain pubs, easyjet flights and constant stag weekends and left with memories that I'll never forget and a inspiration to travel that still influences my life. So, it's not what it was but that's the past, it is still an amazing city and a city that must be visited at least once. |
