Well I've lived in Chester for too long now and although it's a great city in terms or history and building architecture it does have it's limits. Friday and Saturday nights have become a free for all for the local yobs as the police presence now consists of cctv pictures sent to the police HQ - no bobies on the beat means violence and yob culture. So I've had enough and spend nearly every weekend in North Wales on my yacht. She's slowely under-going a refit so when I'm not sailing, due to the British weather, I've got plently of other jobs to occupy my time. In fact I don't quite know where the time goes, I arrive Friday night and after a few hours in the evenings socialising in the club it's Sunday afternoon and time for the run home. I love spending time on my yacht, it's something that I've always wanted to do ... dreaming of sail away, with that special partner would be ideal, and travel the warmer climates. Hopefully in a few years that might be possible. Most of the folks that you meet sailing are interesting and friendly and more than willing to offer helpful advice for all those diy jobs that would otherwise cost a fortune to get done by the boat yards.

Just been to the Isle on Man sailing - I'll update and add some pictures when I get chance.....did some damage to the boat on the way back but never mind no one was hurt - a forced gybe cause a problem!
