New York is my city. I went to school there at Parsons School of Design in the village. It is such a wonderful place to wander the streets & people watch. Completely democratic. I usually find myself in the East Village to go out. Soho is a great place to window shop. The Metropolitian Museum of Art has become a refuge for me over the years. The newly renovated MOMA is not to be missed. Further afield, the New York Botanical Gardens or the Bronx Zoo are spectacular. I've worked in Midtown, Downtown, each neighborhood is unique. There is so much culture & diversity to be found. Always a festival or parade of some kind going on.
