Jersey City is my new favorite place to explore. I have several close friends who live there. I've been introduced to some fabulous neighborhoods with great, offbeat restaurants, charming architecture and breathtaking views of the city. There is a lot of construction & renovation going on. They take old factory buildings and turn them into gorgeous loft living spaces. Jersey City has maintained an authentic industrial character. Many European immigrants came here at the turn of the century, which is evident in the details of the wood & stone work in some brownstones.
