| Bass rock, From North Berwick |
| | More than the seabirds.... North Berwick lies at the South of the Firth Of Forth, where it meets the North Sea. It is an attractive seaside resort with a pretty harbour. The town grew as a resort in the late 1800's, probably due to its close proximity to Edinburgh, which is easily reached by rail or road. |
Maybe next time.... Unfortunately we only had time for a brief visit, being on the way to Aberdeenshire, The weather was also pretty foul, so I am looking forward to returning soon, with more time and hopefully a bit of sunshne. | | |
