County Durham is one of those places I have passed through many times on my way up to Scotland and the North of England, but have rarely had time to stop. This time we managed to stop off for a while and admire some of the things the county has to offer.
Alas our visit was all to short as we were on our way somewhere elase, but hopefully this brief glimse should give us the impetus to return again shortly.

Pros:lots to see, nice scenery
