A good B&B in Roma and other Rome, Italy Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

I didn't stay personally here ,because I am from Rome, but I was lookind for a place for some friends coming to visit the Eternal City.
They have about 12 rooms splitted in 2 venues(Via di S.Basilio, near Piazza Barberini, and Via degli Avignonesi, near the Trevi fountain).

Unique Qualities: Nice Rooms(not hege as usual in Rome), clean,good rates and friendly service.

This is a simple small 3 star Hotel, located near the Termini Train Station(5 minutes by walk) that was recently refurbished.Rooms are not huge but quite and clean.Breakfast is served in a nice room on the ground floor.
A double room in high season(April-May-June-September-October) should be about 200 euro but they often have special offer.

Unique Qualities: Termini neighboarhood is not the best area in Rome, but it is very convenient if you wish to move around using public trasportation and you can also virtually walk everywhere, with just the Vatican a little bit too far away.
You will feel more safe at this Hotel having the Carabinieri(military police) always on duty to keep an eye on the building on the other side of the street(Consiglio Superiore della Magistratura).

Very nice simple Guest House (22 rooms) located just around the corner from Piazza del Popolo and only few minutes walk from Spanish Steps.
They do not serve breakfast!!

Adriano, Senato and La Lumiere are more expensive because of the location.

Unique Qualities: They are all much better than the average 3 star hotel in Rome. Hotel del Senato has the best location and it is actually considered as a 4 star hotel for Rome standard.

It has been completely renovated but still with a very traditional elegant decor. I am not sure if it is a 3 star or 4 star property. Double rooms start from Euro 129 per night in low season (2008).

The view from the terrace is amazing!!
