I was born on the 7th of August 1978. Yes I am a Leo. A true one not just a calendar one.
I'm stubborn and ones I set my next goal there is nothing that can stop me before I reach it! So don't get in my way....... just kidding. I do get and always got what I want but ONLY with my hard work.
Lets go back to where we left off. I was born in Olkusz a small, nice town near the place where I lived most of my live in Poland. It's near Krakow for all those that don't know Poland :). I've been a happy child ever since....... or something like that.
In July 1990 my brother and I took off to USA to see my dad. It was suppose to be for summer vacations only but turned out to be a longer stay (till July 1991). Stayed for over a year in Yonkers. Thats about 20 mins ride on the train to NYC. Enjoyed going to a US public school. U can imagine how different it was from my home country where communism has just fallen.
That was pretty exciting time in my live.
But that was then. Now in 1997 I graduated form High School and by succesfully passing my exams got into Silesian Medical University in Katowice - Zabrze!
I spent six years studying general medicine and graduated in June 2003 with a title of a physician :)
Those were hard times but extremly productive at least for me. Not all of us made it till the end, and not all in the six year period time :(. In October 2003 I entered a 13th month internship program at State Specialistic Hospital no. 5 in Sosnowiec. Interesting expirience not only do to work I did but also to all those fine people (mostly doctors) I run into. It's pretty untrue that most our older colleagues are not nice to us! You can and should expect that how you approach and treat someont that someone is going to approach and treat you! Maybe thats why I never had any problems with any of my older colleagues no matter if they were just physicians or much older and wiser professors. Enough about that.
Now I'm happly unemployed :( I think I'm too picky now. There is always a work there but do I want to do that............????????
Maybe a tiny bit about why I'm here because so far you didn't hear about me travelling anywhere. Ok..... I don't know why I'm here :\ . I didn't travel much as you can see from my pages. Mostly it was US which I love and in more recent years its Australia. I didn't travel before too much. Thought I'm going to leave it for later, later as after graduation. But now I'm looking at opening a speciality and I'm getting engaged in research ...and and and. No time or will. Its got to be one of them :p
I speak Polish pretty good :p so all of you that want to write in that language feel free, I should understand you ..... unless I don't want to:p. Och and that English thats ok to. My German is in ......... lets just say it used to be better. My Russian expired :( but I can still understan Latin :). My Chinese is in diapers. No one but I really mean no one wants to help me with pronounciation :( but I don't give up! Thankfully they invented computers and I can get software that will help me and won't laugh.

but you have to wait for a fullmoon........or just a night fall to see the animal side of me. Acces to that side is limited to some only :p

Like in Delta's Goodrem song "New chapter of my life" my new chapter has finished so that yet another one can start. Came to Maryborough on the 1st of February 2005. Started working here as a Junior House Officer. Now the time has come to finish that and move one. Some vacations in between and then time to go to Newcastle! Now as a Registrar in Emergency Medicine :) So for those interested...... mor chapters coming not only with Aussie advantures but much more!
