I had a business trip to Houston in late of Sept 2004.
God less that it was not as hot and humid as I had expected. It's warm and comfortable.
We arrived on Saturday so we can visit NASA and hang out in the town for sometime before we start our work on Monday.
The photo on the left is taken in downtown Houston, since it was Sunday, there were very few people on the street. The train looks really nice, so sad that I didn't have time to have a ride.

The left photo is taken in the galleria. It's on the west of Houston down town. I found there are more stores and restaurants there.
