The Alps national park around the Königsse has a great recreational value. He offers an imposing mountain world, healthy and spicy air, crystal clear waters of mountain lakes. An excursion by the electric boat on the Königssee over to Saint Batholomä belongs to absolute must go.

Ruhpolding

Some kilometers far from Berchtesgaden lies the wonderful town Ruhpolding. Very often since 1990 I spent many time there, in a nice flat high above Ruhpolding or in Ramsau.

Alps tour

And this is nearly a historical picture, made during one of our first vacations in that region. With our "first car after reunification" and as my children were "very young".

Truly the alpinist's paradise here in Germany! Many grand days I have wandered up high! Good pictures and nice choice of a tour with that 'first' auto ;-]
